Post-Rock seems to be quite popular now, and I have to admit that I do not mind at all. Those 4 breton dudes, Corbeaux, financed the recording and the release of this album via crowdfunding and booked Magnus Lindberg in Stockholm for the mixing. Which was a good decision because the sound is clear and crisp, yet still contains enough “dirt” when it comes to rougher parts. Beautiful delicate tunes that remind me a bit of the Finns Callisto. The French band puts some Prog and Blade Runner atmosphere into their mix and give us also some trips into (Post?) Metal and Almost-Noise land, thanks to the new bass player Mathieu. Vocals are put so sparsely that I would almost consider it an “instrumental” Album... One of my faves: Ezimpurkor. Remarkable!
PS: The Coverartwork (Romain Barbot) should maybe also be praised here.
